3 of us went there for lunch. Love the delicious food, great outdoor seating & atmosphere. We ordered barbecued octopus, prosciutto toastie & miso salmon bowl. The octopus was our favourite, so tasty & tender. Food was well presented, fresh & flavourful. Generous portions & friendly staff. One of the best cafe with modern Australian cuisine. We will be back โฅ๏ธ
Lovely spot for brunch. We came in around noon ish and did not have to wait for a table. The food was great, and decent serving size. They have a good amount of options to explore. Would love to come back and try something new!
Looking for a place with vegan options we ended up here and we couldnโt have been more pleasantly surprised. We tried to cancel and leave but the food was almost ready and boy oh boy was it good. We had the vegan version of the Wild Sage Bowl and the Truffle Mushrooms (vegetarian) on toast and I can wholeheartedly recommend everyone tries this. The Truffle mushrooms were a stripped down version of the dish with eggs and cheese, so it of course was not perfect but the taste and quality of toast and mushrooms was excellent. Last but not least, the oat milk cap was excellently textured, which is not easy to find. The only comment I could make would be a request for them to have more proper vegan versions of their vegetarian dishes, but hey, I appreciate them accomodating to the best of the possibilities and I will be coming back.
A lively spot with a nice outdoor setup and plenty of energy. We came for brunch and tried both the sweet and savory sides of the menu. The tropical pancake was beautiful: thick and cake-like with smooth pandan cream, topped with strawberries, rockmelon, and crisp tuile pieces. It came with a side of syrup that added just enough sweetness without being heavy. The smoked salmon eggs Benedict was well-balanced, with rich hollandaise and mustard seeds giving a nice tangy pop. The sautรฉed greens underneath added freshness and helped cut through the richness. I also liked that they used a potato rosti as the bottom bun, that was a super unique concept The iced passionfruit matcha with whipped cream and matcha dusting was indulgent, while the chocolate pistachio had a thick rim of pistachio crumble and generous cocoa on top, both very photogenic and satisfying. Located in the heart of Barangaroo, the cafรฉ has a bright open-air vibe perfect for people-watching or bringing your dog along (we saw a cute pup chilling at the next table). Service was friendly even though it was busy, and the food came out quickly. Prices are a touch premium for casual brunch, but the quality and location justify it.
A very unique selection of food across the menu! Coffee was also to a very nice standard, a good cappuccino. Our group tried both savoury and sweet breakfast dishes. The pancakes were lovely and crispy and the fresh fruit and pandan cream was delicious and very unusual! The French toast was very sweet but had a great flavour with lots of good elements! The only let down was the mushroom garlic sourdough on toast, the eggs were not cooked the best and the sourdough toast was far too hard so unable to cut it but the flavour was nice. Maybe best to switch to a hash brown base instead of toast? Service was not good. I understand it was a Saturday morning and busy however we were forgotten about multiple times. The wait staff took 25m to take our order and I had to go to the desk to get someoneโs attention. Despite seeing that the staff knew we hadnโt ordered and said the would come over and did not. The same issue with paying the bill.
