If you're in Cairns and love waffles (especially gluten free ones) do not miss this place. Their gluten free waffles are hands down the best I’ve ever had. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and packed with flavour whether you go sweet or savoury. Portions are huge (come hungry!), and everything tastes super fresh. You can tell they really care about what they serve. The menu has something for every mood — sweet tooth or full-on brunch cravings. This is easily my favourite breakfast spot in Cairns. I keep coming back, and it never disappoints!

One of the best spots in Cairns! We were visiting on holidays and enjoyed Waffle On so much that we went twice! Highly recommend the Robert Brownie Jnr waffles. They were perfectly cooked and crispy. I even tried the BLAT waffle sandwich on the second visit and the bacon was cooked to perfection 👌 Pricing was super affordable - very good value for money. We went on a Sunday morning around 10am and a Wednesday morning and it was pretty quiet both times so no wait for a table or food. A great place to grab breakfast or brunch while in Cairns.

The waffles are incredible!! I've tried both savoury and sweet ones and they are both so tasty and yummy. The only thing I'd change is the system of first lining up to sit on a table, then having to stand up to go order at the counter, it'd be easier if you just lined up once at the counter place your order and then find your table. Definitely going to visit it again when I'm in Cairns

This is a contender for the best waffles I’ve ever had. I was expecting these waffles to be heavy and overly rich but I was pleasantly surprised by how light they were. I will say that the service is pretty lackluster, help yourself to cutlery and table water and not a smile from the staff in sight. I’m still giving them 5 stars because the food was good. Seems like a very popular place so it may pay to book a table.

We went there Sunday morning and there wasn’t much rush. We were seated promptly. We ordered cappuccino, egg Benedict without bacon sub avocado and tropical fruit waffle. Service was fast and staff were friendly. Mostly outside seating so too much wind may affect the seating. Area was covered so rain may not be issue. Food was delicious and arrived quickly. The waffles were not too crispy and taste was good. Poached eggs were well cooked. Overall good experience and worth visiting or revisiting this place.
