English breakfast not cooked properly, flavourless, and bland. Coming from Melbourne known as the city with the BEST brunches this english breakfast or big breakfast tastes terrible …. as soon as I saw the bacon I’m like that isn’t cooked fully, the hash browns don’t even look brown and when I tasted it it was like half cooked, not crispy. Also the mushroom, when I took a bite it was still raw 😳 the middle hasn’t been fully cooked. The tomato, oh man it was like not even cooked as well, it’s l

The tomato, oh man it was like not even cooked as well, it’s like just heated on microwave. Toast tastes like something you can buy from cole’s. I’m not sure, but I think the kitchen was rushing because we arrived 10 minutes before the kitchen was closing, but we have 30 mins to dine. The photo below shows the mushroom still hard. Only nice thing was registered staff was friendly. I don’t know how this place is rated 4.5+ above to begin with but it’s just average based on my experience.
Service was lovely and so was the food. Our order came fairly quickly. Great ambience. They have good vegetarian options. Highly recommend this place.
Food was nice but there was about a 20minute wait before we got the food. Nice iced chocolate and turkish eggs. Couldn't really eat the sausage as it had a plastic taste to it. Good for a quick bite but maybe need to try other menu as in another holiday as this didn't quite live up to the hype.
One of the very best cafes in all of Sydney, with an incredible barista pouring your morning coffees, guaranteed to be smooth every time. Located on the corner of a busy road, this simple & stylish cafe is the perfect place to stop for breakfast/brunch. Their menu lists the breakfast classics, with a few unique additions that really make this place worth the trip. If you’re looking for a simple breakfast, the eggs are always scrambled to perfection, served with good quality toasted bread, a great meal to go with your cappuccino. The eggs benny is warm & refreshing, with a beautifully creamy hollandaise, I recommend trying with the smoked salmon. The pistachio labni is the standout dish on the menu for me. Boasting with flavour from every element, it’s the essential pick for when you’re not sure if you want hot or cold, because of the creaminess & strong flavours. I added sujuk, & it really just took it to another level. Lastly, FINALLY a cafe with comfy chairs. You can actually sit comfortably & enjoy a well made breakfast, & a perfectly brewed coffee. Customer service is exceptional, can’t fault it. 10/10 recommend.
It’s a cute cafe with nice views looking out from the glass around. The staff is always so friendly and excited. I have loved my visits at this place. Genuinely priced food and nice coffee! Always on my recommendation list for best cafes in Marrickville.
