Had an amazing breakfast, the food was spectacular.. Coffee was great!
Whilst on a short re-visit to the Sunshine Coast with family, we decided to try a new experience at The Giggling Goat on Dickey Beach. We loved the name, and had to find out more. The cafe was very busy for a Saturday, but we were served promptly, and our food was delivered fairly quickly. We were all delighted with our choices. Mine was Rosti Benny…a House made potato rosti, bacon, fried haloumi, two poached eggs. kale, beetroot hummus, herbed hollandaise. I chose not to have the kale, but everything else was absolutely delicious. I loved the beetroot hummus, which I had never tried before. I do hope other restaurants serve this delight. The eggs were cooked to perfection, and the hollandaise yummy. I ordered a latte, which was lovely and hot. The staff were friendly and quick. I would heartily recommend this restaurant.
Absolutely delicious! We shared the Rosti Benny (added mushroom) and Beef Brisket burger. Delicious! Big serves; couldn’t finish the benny. Whatever that chip seasoning is, well it’s scrumptious! Will return for sure
Just a short stroll from the beach, this charming café is a true local favourite—and it’s easy to see why. With a relaxed, coastal vibe and plenty of outdoor seating, it’s the perfect spot to grab a coffee and enjoy the salty breeze. There’s a real community feel here, with friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere that extends to four-legged visitors too—there’s even a water bowl set out for dogs. I ordered a coffee and it was absolutely spot on—smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. It’s the kind of cup that makes you pause and savour the moment, especially with the beach so close by. The café seems to have a loyal following among locals, and it’s not hard to understand why. One thing to keep in mind: they do close fairly early, so if you’re planning a visit, it’s best to swing by in the morning. Whether you’re on your way to the sand or just after a peaceful place to start your day, this café offers that perfect blend of great coffee, good vibes, and coastal charm. I’m already looking forward to going back.
