Small size coffee ($5) is more like a slightly bigger piccolo and not the standard small size you get at other cafes. Plain Avocado toast was apparently not plain as described on the menu and drizzled with a lot of sweetish brown syrup. Avocado slices barely covered the toast. Disappointing experience for the price charged !!!

Oh, what a truly magical visit to this lovely little cafe! Stepping through the doors felt like finding a cozy corner of a storybook. The real sparkle of the day was the incredible service, led by the one and only Sue! As the cafe swirled into the mid-day rush, Sue was no less than a fairy godmother of caffeine. To take a moment for a quick, genuine chat while navigating a flurry of orders? That, my friends, is the mark of a true rock star! Her kindness is the secret ingredient that makes this cafe's atmosphere absolutely enchanting. And now, for the coffee! If Zest roast were a song, it would be a delightful ditty you'd want to listen to on repeat. My small, skinny flat white (with that extra-magical shot!) was crafted with the precision of a master clockmaker. While the "smalls" are indeed pint-sized—perhaps sized for a very happy little dwarf!—the ratio was nothing short of perfection. Two shots and the skinny milk achieved a velvety harmony that made my preferred drink a moment of pure bliss. Just like a favorite theme park ride, I simply cannot wait to go again! This cafe is a true Happily Ever After for any coffee lover.

As their name indicated, this is clearly a specialty coffee, making coffee using beans from Zest Specialty Coffee Roastery. They offer both Espresso based coffee, ice drip, and cold brew using different beans. They also have Batch brew and SOE as well but unfortunately run out for the day when I was there. The lady batista who served me was friendly, knowledgeable with attention to details. Looks like she is Jeanie Kim the owner. I liked the decor of the indoor table. Look forward to coming again to try their different coffee beans with different brewing methods.

Very good food, coffee, and baked goods. They serve Zest coffee, including the Bluebird variety, which is my favorite. Friendly, engaging service here, too. Loses a star because they impose a 1.6% card surcharge, higher than the standard 1.2%; yet most other cafes today are eliminating card surcharges entirely and instead setting a true and honest menu price since 95% of people today pay by card. While I like this place, I will continue to support other cafes that have more honest and transparent pricing.

The staff and atmosphere are really warm and friendly. This is the perfect place hide away from the hustle and bustle of the street. Great spot for a meeting or to have a read of the paper. The latte was the best I’ve had in years, not warm but actually hot! The full bodied taste of coffee cream coupled with the silky texture of the milk was amazing. The bulgogi wrap was incredibly tasty with the crispy toasted outside complimenting the flavours of marination, spinach, cheese and aioli. Thank you, I’ll be back.
