This is the BEST meal I’ve ever eaten I’m truly so impressed. 10/10 food 10/10 atmosphere. I dined alone on a quiet Monday and it was wonderful the service is impeccable and each dish was amazing. I cannot explain how much I recommend this restaurant and I will be coming back to try more. Genuinely the nicest meal I’ve ever had I just adored everything.

Great breakfast - their avocado toast is incredible, and their granola bowl is worth the trip. Really good dinner too. Their garden is perfect on a warm and lazy day, and the indoors setting is for a fancy date. Professional and friendly staff. The Chef was kind enough to accomodate my vegan diet.

I’ve visited the Collective twice — once for a private visit to enjoy their beautiful cocktails, and the second time for a Concierge Ball. On both occasions, the experience was outstanding. The food was delicious, the staff were exceptionally attentive, and the drinks were perfectly balanced. Overall, it’s a truly wonderful venue with a great mix of alfresco space, bar, and restaurant. Highly recommended!

The Collective is located in one of the most beautiful areas in Sydney- the Rocks. honestly, the vibe and the setting are just perfect. The atmosphere is warm, elegant, and the lighting and seating are both lovely. Even the bathrooms were spotless and well-kept, which is always a plus. However, when it comes to the food and service, I can’t give this place a higher rating. We started with the tartare, which was really, really delicious, easily the highlight of the meal. The halloumi, on the other hand, was just average. The bread and butter were nice,the bread was perfectly crispy (which I loved), but the portion of butter could have been a bit more generous. For the mains, the 500g steak was great — cooked well and full of flavor. Unfortunately, the duck was ok . You could probably find better duck dishes in a typical Asian restaurant. The lamb, however, was a real disappointment. I can confidently say this one was far below average. It simply didn’t have that tenderness or depth of flavor you expect from a good lamb dish. Desert was nice. Service was another weak point. Our server, Raj, was polite. After the first round, the sommelier practically disappeared. At times, it felt like we needed to send an SOS signal from our table just to get someone’s attention for a refill or any follow-up. It wasn’t rude service, but it was slow and inattentive. Overall, The Collective has an amazing atmosphere and location, but the food and service didn’t live up to the setting. I’d rate it three stars out of five — worth visiting once for the vibe, but not somewhere I’d go back for the food.

had my birthday dinner here and everything was so good! asked them to bring it all at once (instead of having appetizers brought before mains) and they were able to do it. THE LOBSTER RAVIOLI!!! it was a special offer for the night but i will be thinking about it for many nights to come. I also recommend the wagyu if you love fatty juicy steak - i was in love!!! honestly i recommend everything but i might skip the mafaldine pasta and green beans next time. service was also great, everyone was friendly and accommodating. i remember enjoying the music that night a lot.
