Beautifully delicious food & amazing staff! I could sit here all day!!!

Tasty fresh food. Super friendly staff. They kindly made my latte strong without up charging me. The acoustics in the space are well diffused and it’s easy to have a conversation, which probably wasn’t planned, as there is no obvious actual acoustic treatments installed anywhere, but the unusual space is excellent for acoustic diffusion, which is important but most people don’t realize other than feeling audible discomfort. Food is fresh and tasty. Fresh. Nicely chill pop playing in the background. Definitely a nice find

My first visit was impressive: delicious coffee just the way I like it, staff lovely, can pay with cash. Chose it for an early afternoon pick-me-up coffee because it was on my Genge St route, attractive decor and COVID-safe: plenty of outside seating separated from passing foot and vehicle traffic and with shelter of overhead umbrellas, door open for customer service and seating inside. It’s now on my list of favorites.

Very nice cafe, good location and nice ambiance. Great coffee and delicious food. Eggs benny with avocado and tomato was quite good. Great and fast service. Friendly staff.

Can’t fault this small family-run cafe in the heart of Civic. I’m an omelette guy for breakfast; good omelette and good coffee and I’m happy and these guys deliver in spades. They open early, the staff are tremendous and it has a really nice vibe. Do yourself a favour and try The Bearded Bean.
