After a long day, I arrived at the hotel looking forward to treating myself to a good meal. From the moment I sat down, David made me feel genuinely welcome. He suggested a few options, and I chose the special of the day on his recommendation. It turned out to be an excellent choice and truly elevated the whole dining experience. We do not know Geelong very well and found ourselves wandering along the waterfront looking for somewhere to eat and drink. We were drawn into Tempo because they had a beautiful musician playing out the front. Even though it is part of an Accor hotel, Tempo did not have that typical hotel bar feel from the outside, which was a nice surprise. The drinks were great. I was excited to order a club sandwich for lunch, something I often go for when staying at hotels, but this one missed the mark. It was a little dry with not enough sauce making it hard to finish. The chips, however, were delicious and the overall vibe was great. The staff were friendly enough, but the service was a bit sporadic and not very attentive (though it was a Sunday so they were likely running on skeleton staff…..). I really wish the club sandwich had been amazing (a great one is rare to find), because then it would be a must visit for me whenever I am back in Geelong. As it stands, I would probably try some of the other spots along the waterfront next time.

We attended Tempo Kitchen & Bar in Geelong, Victoria on Christmas morning for their breakfast buffet, and it was a fantastic way to start the day. From the moment we arrived, the place was buzzing with energy and everyone seemed to be in a genuinely positive Christmas spirit, which immediately set the tone. On arrival we were a little unsure where to go, so we asked at the bar. The barman was friendly and happily directed us to the concierge. Although the concierge was clearly very busy, we were eventually seated. Initially we weren’t given much information, but shortly after, a Team Leader came to our table and provided a clear and thorough rundown of how everything worked. She was incredibly helpful and made us feel comfortable and confident to tackle the buffet. The food itself was excellent and well beyond a standard breakfast spread. All the usual staples were there — cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts and a wide selection of breads for toasting. The hot food included bacon, sausages, mushrooms, scrambled eggs, hash browns and more, with the added bonus of custom-cooked eggs available in almost any style you could ask for. For those wanting to indulge, there was also an impressive selection of pastries, pancakes, doughnuts, muffins, cupcakes and plenty more. Overall, it was an incredible breakfast experience with very helpful staff and a great atmosphere. A wonderful way to kick off Christmas Day — we’d happily return.

Incredible!! Tempo hosted our brides hens this weekend, including a fabulous cocktail masterclass and we honestly could not fault the whole experience. Jake was 10/10 from the get go, from the initial enquiry to running the class, he was super friendly, informative, flexible and engaging. Would definitely recommend to anyone for a fun night out!

We did the winter dome dining on a Friday night what a great date night the igloo's are so toasty warm well decorated and overall just very cozy feeling. Staff are very welcoming and accommodating great atmosphere. The Graze package was fantastic so much food we even added on the chocolate fondue which was a very generous serving definitely worthwhile
