Surprised this place has a 4.8. Maybe the food is amazing… I only got coffee so that’s hard to jusge a place solely on that but it’s a good place to start. Staff were friendly and the place is clean and nice. Prices are fair too. My coffee (skinny cap) wasn’t awful but far from the best I’ve had. It was kinda like hot milk and lacked a nice coffee flavour. It was only a small too but just wasn’t super great unfortunately.

Hidden Colombian Gem! I had a wonderful breakfast at Summit Quay Cafe this morning with a friend. I chose the 'brekky arepa' and a flat white coffee, and my friend ordered 'the rancheros eggs' and a chai latte. We were served by a friendly and attentive waitress, and we didn't have to wait long for our meals. The brekky arepa consisted of a home-made corn arepa (cheese in the middle), poached eggs with a home-made hollandaise sauce, avocado, and a generous serve of grilled halloumi (or you can choose pulled chicken instead). The ingredients were high quality, and the chef certainly knew how to put them together. Very nice! The rancheros eggs are also worth a mention: Free-range scrambled eggs with hogao sauce, mild Spanish chorizo, and, again, a home-made corn arepa. Terrific! Our drinks were up to the same high standards. You can be sure of great coffee in a Colombian Cafe, and they serve delicious chai latte, too. This cafe is easy to miss because it's a bit out of the way (on North Quay, between Ann and Turbot Streets), but it is only a short walk from the Queen Street Mall. They have ample seating inside and out. It's a pleasant cafe in a handy location, and the quality of the food and service makes it well worth a visit.

Tried their brekky arepa and smoothie, it was good. Coffee is good, matcha not so much. But service is so nice and accommodating with changes to my order
