Silo West is a cafe in a good location near the Manly ferry wharf. It has seats inside and covered seating on the footpath. I popped in for a cup of coffee yesterday. A large long black coffee. I placed my order with an unsmiling young man. “Small or large?” He grunted. He could see I was going to pay cash. He put his hand on the counter, palm upwards, and mumbled 480. No please. No thank you. He brought my coffee to me outside. Nothing said by him. I thanked him. The coffee cup was not full, as you can see in the photo. And that was it for me. I won’t be back!

Went for a coffee with family today. The staff didn't want to be there. Family ordered 2 x coffees in a takeaway cup and received them in a ceramic cup. My husband ordered 2 x coffees in a takeaway cup for ourselves with one of the coffees with one sugar. The male serving us at the table practically threw the sugars on the table then walked away. I had to ask for a spoon to stir the sugar into my coffee. He took his sweet time then eventually came back with a spoon, gave me a filthy look, reached across my husband (and so close to my husband's face) to pass the spoon. I have never come across such a rude person in hospitality. We will never go back and we are more than happy to spread the word. Absolutely disgraceful service.

My family and I eat there weekly, and it’s truly a great place. The food is well-prepared, delicious, and reasonably priced. It’s a cozy spot to eat or enjoy one of the best coffees in the area! I highly recommend stopping by if you’re in Manly.

What a great place! The staff is very friendly. The Chef, Ana, is really nice and attentive. And the food... Wow! The place has many options, but we had the Brazilian "PF", which was incredibly good! Very tasty, healthy, and very well served! We also had a delicious natural juice (carrots, apple, orange and ginger) and as a dessert, one of the best "quindim" I have ever had. Before leaving, I ordered a mocha to takeaway, and wow... I don't usually like buying coffee, or mocha, but it was so worth it! Very creamy and tasty. Really good. The place was very cleaned and not crowded. We didn't wait much for our food, and it wasn't cold, or too hot... Everything was in the perfect amount. I have nothing to complain about this place. Highly recommended!

Had the pleasure to try the Brazilian PF and the Brisket bowl together with a delicious coffee and a brigadeiro! Loved everything. Food and coffee were delicious thanks to Dayane and the very talented chef Ana, both very friendly as well. We will definitely be back. Make sure you value your staff, they are great!!!
