Beautiful balmy night across the road from the harbour. Lovely open plan dining area, very clean and well spaced. Has an upstairs but I don't think that was open when we were there. Friendly greeting on arrival. Polite and attentive staff who knew about the food and wines. Delicious dinner. The old boy had barramundi, best ever he said. The wine that was recommended is now my new favourite. It was easy to find a park but we did go on Wednesday evening at 6.30, it may get busy towards the weekend Very happy for a return visit

Amazing! The staff are lovely, gentle, and always attentive. The gnocchi are simply divine, the best I’ve ever tasted! An unforgettable experience that makes me want to come back to Newcastle just to eat here.

Had a lovely lunch at Newcastle Signal Box. The oysters were fresh and clean, and the main of WA scallops and prawns was nicely cooked with really good flavours. The food was definitely the highlight. Service was a bit average as staff wasn’t knowledgeable on produce source. Overall, still a great spot for seafood with nice atmosphere.

My wife and I had a beautiful dinner for our anniversary and will be back again. Staff were very friendly, happy and professional. Our waitress was Rozelle, I believe, super friendly and had a good chat. The food was delicious, and the timing was spot on. Appreciated everyone making our night a memorable one.
