On a cold spring morning, this cafe offered some solace and much needed caffination for an early morning explorer. Around 6am, it is a very calm and quiet ambiance. The staff work with quiet efficiency. There are some interesting choices in items for sale. The usual keep cups, coffee blends and flavourings. The unique aspect is the hand made (I hope) plates. The coffee was hot and had creamy bitterness. A good early eye opener.
Nice and cozy cafรฉ with friendly staff. I came in for breakfast. We had the French toast&the Mighty Breakfast. The French toast was okay just a bit too dense and almost dry for my liking. The Mighty Breakfast was good. As for the hot drinks, I wish they had been served a little hotter...they were too easy to drink, especially on a cold morning.
A wonderful find โ spacious, welcoming, and full of natural light. The flat white with almond milk and an extra shot was spot-on โ smooth, perfectly made, and served at just the right temperature. The avocado on toast was beautifully balanced, subtly seasoned with fresh herbs, quality olive oil, a touch of lemon, and thoughtful garnishes. The breakfast burger and hash brown were just right, and the granola was clearly high quality. It was great to see such a mix of people โ families, younger groups, and older locals โ all enjoying the space. A lovely spot worth visiting.
Ordered the Brekky Burger for $22 which included lots of yummy toppings on the menu. It came out with only the eggs and meat, no other toppings. When I asked them about this they added 2 of the missing toppings I paid for but still forgot the avocado, I was too hungry to complain again. There was also a $15 Bacon and Egg roll which has no extra toppings, so I felt kind of ripped off paying so much extra to not get what I paid for. The food itself was ok, not terrible but not great (maybe because it had gone cold). My friends waffles were dense and doughy. The Hot Chocolate was nice at least and staff were friendly enough.
Went for dinner at Rosemary and the food was absolutely outstanding, everything was delicious, the staff are so kind, friendly, attentive and chatty. They were exceptionally accommodating to dietary requirements (vegan) and not a single flavour was missed. If I could rate this meal a 10/5 I would, Iโll definitely be back! Cannot recommend it highly enough, if you havenโt been for dinner here yet, then youโre missing out on one of Kingstonโs best kept secret!
