Steele came to my daughter’s house to prepare a birthday dinner for seven of us, and it was absolutely outstanding. He was the utmost professional from start to finish, and the food was exceptional — beautifully presented and full of flavour. It was honestly better than a restaurant experience, and we could all relax and enjoy it in the comfort of home. I was so impressed that I’ve already booked him again for a group of fourteen at his new venue for a 60th birthday celebration. I truly can’t wait.

Absolutely brilliant. Great company & great presence. Would have back in a heartbeat. Also catered to dietaries with ease. Highlights were brioche with pancetta & prawn with hot honey, the steak was perfect & dessert was incredible. Could not recommend more.

When recently planning a luncheon for friends, I contacted Steele to see if he was available (at short notice) and to discuss a menu suitable for our selection of wines. Dealing with Steele was absolutely effortless and in no time, we had a mouth-watering menu selected and the booking was locked in. Steele arrived with everything! –plates, cutlery, linens, table decoration and professionally printed menus, and proceeded to set the table before moving into the kitchen to prepare our meals. We were all impressed that he catered for dietary requirements/personal preferences whilst maintaining the menu integrity and without making the dish look completely different from the rest. Each guest at the luncheon could well be considered a true ‘foodie’ - having dined in some of the very best local and international restaurants - so it is high praise that we were all absolutely delighted, and completely and totally elated with the flow of the luncheon, presentation (introduction of each course and plating) and taste of every course presented to us. High quality produce, expertly prepared and presented, set the luncheon in high esteem and has left us all wanting MORE! Without fuss or ‘noise’ from the kitchen, Steele cleaned and packed away, such that the kitchen was as clean (if not cleaner) as when he arrived. I would have no reservation in recommending Private Dinning by Steele for any occasion or event …he is professional, organised, skilled and sets an extremely high standard in catering, that is almost impossible to match!!!

Recently, I scored a seat at a table of 8, to experience a night that was so much more than the tasting menu on offer. We were all quick to realise, that it wasn't just about the laughter and the stories from around the table and it wasn't just about the food prepared right before our eyes. It was the combination of the setting, the company, the feeling and ambience which was all about Steele working right there just feet away. The anticipation of what was coming from the kitchen next, was exciting and like being part of a show. Yes the food was seriously good but it was way way more than just the food. A perfect evening!
