Such a hidden gem!!! I was trying out eat club for the first time and came across this restaurant, looked amazing so we booked in and showed up at 7:45pm on Friday the 26th of September. Where do i even begin??? First, letโ€™s start with the staff, they made the experience 100 times better ! The staff knew the menu super well and were super attentive, nice and well mannered! The welcome and service provided by Justine were an absolute pleasure. Warm, professional, and attentive to our needs, while remaining relaxed and approachable. Exactly what I had imagined before coming to Pistou. As for the food, it truly felt like a journey back to France. Refined, buttery cuisine with a subtle Australian touch, bringing a wonderful sense of nostalgia. The chef clearly loves his craft and respects the ingredients he works with, and this truly shows in the quality of the dishes. Thank you to the whole team. I highly recommend making the detour for a lovely evening and generous, genuinely delicious food.

Lovely French bistro, with excellent food, amazing wines and super friendly service! Tim helped us and his enthusiasm and knowledge were so great and kind of rare these days in restaurants I feel like. We chose the steak tartare, duck and cheese platter. The way of presenting the steak tartare stood out and the chef was amazing and prepared the duck perfectly! Still dreaming about all the cheeses that were in the cheese fridge. Would definitely go here if I were in Sydney!

Ok so food 5/5 service 5/5 pricing 0/5!!! We literally paid 18 dollars for 4 little pieces of potato as a side dish and 40 bucks for 4 pieces of pork belly! The flavours and mixes were really tasty and interesting but everything was seriously overpriced. The overall experience was nice but unfortunately wonโ€™t be back cos of crazy high prices!!!

It was absolutely amazing, the meat and cheese was so delicious and flavourful, and the presentation was top tier! The mixed breads also added to it, adding in a little kick of flavour! For mains we got the mussels, the duck and the red snapper, i have absolutely no complaints, my personal favourite was the duck, the sauce with the blackberries and the carrots was such an unexpected and delicious flavour, the duck was cooked well and was so tender. My dadโ€™s favourite were the mussels, he was absolutely obsessed with the sauce that he wanted to take the leftovers home to dip some bread in it! (Shoutout to the staff for organising for us to take the leftover sauce with us! Even though itโ€™s an unusual request hahah). The atmosphere of the restaurant is also amazing, with beautiful interior including their wall of shelves which is super aesthetic and ties the place together! Overall, amazing place and another shoutout for the employee who ran out of the restaurant to find us and give us our stuff that we left behind! 10/10 place with amazing food, staff and atmosphere, definitely a hidden gem that you must visit. I wish we had room for dessert, oh well, means we need to return !!

Such an extremely under appreciated restaurant!!! We came tonight on a Tuesday to try the $30 mussels, bread and wine deal and it was amazing. The staff are so incredibly friendly, offering to take photos of us and engaged in conversation multiple times. The food was delicious. We will definitely be back for mussels tuesday and to try the other deals throughout the week. Thankyou so much :)) & please send special regards to our amazing waiter we forgot his name but heโ€™ll remember us the 4 girls who ordered enough mussels to feed all of paris !!
