Dropped by Opus Coffee Brewers for a quick breakfast and it turned into such a nice morning. The egg bagel was simple but so well done โ soft bread, perfectly cooked egg, and a nice balance of flavors. The long black was rich and clean, one of the best in the area. The space is bright, calm, and filled with the aroma of freshly ground coffee. Friendly staff and a chill atmosphere โ everything you want from a neighborhood cafรฉ. Iโll be back soon for another round.
Fantastic selection of single origin coffees across a dynamic range of brewing methods. Black and milk based coffees. I ordered the batch flight which featured two batches served hot and iced which showed how fantastic your experience of the same coffee can be. To eat they had 1 vegan option available, which though a limited menu was still fantastic. The mushroom bagel, featured 1 large king brown mushroom with a ponzu caramel, on a thick bed of nduja cashew cream garnished with chilli oil and shallot. Jay our server was incredibly professional, he sat us on a table outside that was available until on inside became free. He recommended the fantastic vegan bagel as well as the coffee flight. I would have preferred some more vegan options however I really enjoyed what I had.
Brilliant coffee went as group of 5 while visiting family in Wollongong for 2 weeks. quick service nice food! I had the special, coconut cream and cold brew was fantastic best coffee I had in Wollongong and we went to a new cafe each day we were their!
Very good food, probably the best breakfast I've had out. I got the truffle beef bagel and it was really good, and had delicious flavour. My brother got the omelette, which came with a big piece of pork belly and 2 slices of buttered sour dough bread. I also got a small cappuccino, which was well made.
Everything about this cafรฉ was spot onโfrom the coffee and food to the cozy little space with its clean, minimal vibe. The aesthetic is simple but charming, and I especially loved the cute coffee cups that added a personal touch. I originally walked in because of all the hype around their bagels, but being someone who likes to explore beyond the popular picks, I went for the non-bagel menuโand Iโm so glad I did! The presentation was beautiful, and every bite delivered that unexpected "wow" moment. The flavors were rich, balanced, and thoughtfully put together. Whether you're after a quality cup of coffee or a meal that surprises you, this spot definitely deserves a visit. A must-try if you're in Wollongong!
