We came up from Sydney, staying at the Rydges which is opposite the cafe. Let me tell you ... The coffee is one of the best coffees I have had in NSW! I buy a coffee most days . I Asked for extra hot almond flat white and it was spot on! My kids had babychinos and they went to so much effort making the babychinos little characters! The food was awesome too, good quality and my hungry kids are the lot! There breakfast menu is till 11:30am. The Acai Bowl was just delicious and the staff are so friendly and lovely people. Thanks for a good experience guys !

Amazing breakfast in Newcastle. Been having breakfast here every morning for my holiday. Very conveniently located near Rydges hotel. The overnight oats are amazing and highly recommend them! The coffees are excellent too. The protein choc banana shake is so good and perfect after going to the gym next door. The scrambled eggs are great too. My kids loved their kids milkshakes and ham and cheese croissants. Staff are welcoming and efficient. Will be back!

Very tasty avocado on sourdough. The added smoked salmon was perfect, not too salty, more like a light cure.

Newy is blessed with so many fantastic cafes but this is still my strong favourite for the best flat white in town. The menu is pretty good but I’m mostly here for the coffee.

We had the Eggs Benedict and the mushroom toast. I added scrambled eggs to the mushroom toast and it was an extra $5. This made my meal $21 which is ok, I guess, but the portion size was tiny. One slice of bread, two mushrooms and a couple of spinach leaves just wasn't enough for me. The coffee was fine and the eggs and hollandaise sauce was good too. It's a good location, if you're looking for a spot close to the museum too.
