Ok where do I even start… This place is simply otherwordly!! From the moment you come in you will be greeted with love and kindness, Chris and her team are just lovely human beings, the place is BEAUTIFUL and so cozy, such a good vibe! The food was top notch, not to mention that Chris and Peter are professional chefs, you can see how much dedication and talent goes into every dish and beverage, simply astounding. Today I had a birthday breakfast, and they gave me an orange cake with a candle and the sang me happy birthday I cannot stop to recommend this place: if you’re looking for a good place to relax and have a good experience, Mondegreen is the best place!!

Was here for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Place is walking dustance to the Lake. Food taste is okay and plating was neat. I just felt the cafe is not friendly to non white people like me.

We had a family birthday breakfast here and they could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The breakfast, coffee and cakes were divine. Definitely a 5 star business, great atmosphere, spotless, and highly recommend. We will return many times to come.

Excellent café with fantastic food, cakes and pastries – even the humble toastie is first class here 😋 The odd sounding name refers to "misheard song lyrics" and the place is decorated with some tongue-in-cheek examples 😂

Went here with my mother and my son. The fire was goung so we went straight to the table closest. Very warm and comfortable. I had a latte and the eggs benny. The others had toast. The coffee was good. I could taste the flavour of the beans. The eggs beware good also. Great source dough, great hollandaise and eggs cooked good. Really good experience. Would like a bit more butter and jam/ honey but maybe I have too much when I do it myself!
