The place was okay overall. The meals were nothing special and did not really stand out. Portions were acceptable. If you are expecting proper standard restaurant service, this is not the right place. Most things are self service. Even basic items like tissues were not refilled, and when I asked for one, the staff simply handed me a box from the counter instead of replacing it.
Mondays recently changed their menu and got rid of the Eggs Benedict. PLEASE BRING IT BACK. Food is good. Table service needs to improve i.e some tables don't have cutlery, tissues or their salt/pepper is not re-filled.
Eftpos available Smoked salmon toast + eggs benny and big breakfast Drinks - avocado, coconut shake. Mum has the 'soy capp' 88 John St and turn into the 'alleyway', look for the 'a frame noticeboard'. If you have reached 'Gloria Jeans' you have gone too far. Service was quick, food was tasty. Spacious, plenty of tables, booth seats, Mum complimented that the 'music wasn't too loud', but nice and soft, so she will bring her friends here.
good eats and vibes in the area! a place like this has been needed for cabra and this spot delivers ✌️ i was initially intrigued by the bo ne and ofc was my top pick. they have a lot of brunch options which look tasty too!! the bo ne is probably the best value i’ve had in cabra. generous and well cooked (and a lil fatty 🤭) meat with a slice of happy cow cheese, not one BUT two eggs!! xtra pate and a flavour explosion of sauces! it was absolutely delicious. especially the savoury-ness of the pate. the bread was also fresh, warm and crispy. every bite felt like home. and for only $25!! HECTIC we also got the calamari rings which were a perfect entree to the amazing bo ne. and the drinks were delish. i only wish there was a non crushed version of the coconut viet cafe sua da! to add; the service was amazing! ty so much. we visited on saturday afternoon of 22nd june and was served by a lovely female waitress. please put in a good word, she was attentive, friendly and kind. definitely returning and a great local spot! 😇 thanks guys
Great little hidden gem of a cafe with all day brekky and a sweet green planty outdoor area! We loved dining here and the staff were more than happy to accommodate to our individual adjustments in our group's order. Red velvet and caramel frappes were fantastic, really hit the spot for all of us after a long drive. Soy and alternative milk options available too! The baked eggs were a little on the sour side for the sauce but the rest of the food especially chips and the big brekky were spot on. 🫶🎉
