Metro Brew’In was an absolute standout. From the moment we walked in, the service was fantastic — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without feeling forced. The food was delicious, but the real highlight was the steak sandwich. It was seriously next level — perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and easily one of the best steak sandwiches I’ve had in Sydney. Every bite just worked, and it’s the kind of dish you keep thinking about after you’ve left. The atmosphere made it even better: relaxed, comfortable, and a great spot to actually enjoy your meal rather than rush through it. You can tell the team takes pride in what they’re serving, and it shows in both the quality of the food and the overall experience. If you’re anywhere nearby, this place is well worth a visit. I’ll definitely be back to try more off the menu — if the steak sandwich is anything to go by, the rest will be just as good.

Nov '25: Showed up for lunch. Easy parking. We were seated promptly. Menu arrives looking like a vinyl record. We ordered a smash hit (potato) chimichurri w/ hummus ($20), pulled lamb mode baguette ($25) and a cappuccino ($5.10). Our food arrived shortly, cooked to perfection. One of a kind cuisine. The food here is absolutely spot on. Metro Brew'in is a real hidden gem, and honestly, I wish it was in the city so I could visit more often. The menu offers French-inspired dishes with a modern twist, and every plate we tried was bursting with flavour and cooked to perfection. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always checking in to make sure we were enjoying our meal. It is slightly more expensive than your average cafe, but the quality easily justifies the price. The steak and baguettes, in particular, are must-tries.

The food was awesome. My Peruvian wife was craving chimichurri so we found this place on Google. She ordered the steak and fries with chimichurri and was soo good! I ordered the eggplant encore (Im veggie) with extra chimichurri and was great too! The staff was super friendly and the food was brought to the table quick! Thanks quys, we will be coming back again :)

All the food was amazing especially the steak and chips and steak and mushroom pasta. The service was quick and friendly. The restaurant is a bit hard to find as it is facing away from the main street. We will definitely be back again to try other dishes. Highly recommended!
