Found this place on Google while traveling. It's a warm and welcoming place with delightful staff, yummy coffee and wonderful food - especially the eggs Benedict. I had them with ham and expected the slimy cheap stuff. I got an enormous portion with the most delicious leg ham. My husband ordered his with bacon. Both of us struggled to finish and didn't need to eat all day! Fantastic value and great customer service. Thank you.
1st time visitor. Very impressed with the layout. Tables/seating had ample space in between others. Loved the variety of seating too. Eg. Lounges or dining table. Food was priced well and presented professionally. Had an iced coffee. Glorious..could actually taste the coffee. Service was quick too...loved that. Absolute bonus!!!... were the onsite toilets. Very rare. So massive thumbs up there๐ Only issue, the plate itself, the sandpapery texture of the plate when hit with the knife was like nails on a chalk board. Sorry..part of my ocd. Overall......Thank you Marhaba for a lovely experience.โบ๏ธ
This is such a cute and cozy cafe, it supports good causes, and the sandwiches are delicious! Would highly recommend for a catch-up with a friend/friends, the atmosphere is perfect as itโs below ground level - it feels like a cozy little nook, just the best.
Visited this place for the first time. Been wanting to visit for a while now. So glad I did! In what used to be the red cross centre, this gorgeous cafe retains a few important odes to its past. The staff are warm and friendly, the decor is both kitch and is a quaint throw back to its vintage past and the the coffee was just divine! It was busy right up until closing time, 3 pm which is great as a lot of cafes close much earlier, so it's a great spot to stop after a shopping trip or to stop and revive yourself after seeing the city sights. Surprisingly, even though it's busy, it's not noisy so you can still chat comfortably with a friend at your table. And the sweets are pretty tempting too ๐
Tucked away in the basement of City Hall, you'll find the warm and inviting Marhaba Cafe. Accessible via the entrance off Adelaide Street and down some steps past the old City Hall Rest Room signs, this hidden gem boasts a cozy atmosphere and charming interior design. The polite and friendly staff add to the welcoming ambiance. As for the coffee, it's not just good, it's great. If you're strolling along Adelaide Street and in need of a snug spot to savor a drink or a bite to eat, you absolutely must give this cafe a try. It's an experience worth seeking out.
