Waiting time: No waiting for a table but food was slow. We ordered two steaks, a side veggie and a drink. It took half an hour for the food to come. They were all lukewarm. The herb butter on the steak was iced cold and stayed that way until we finished the steak. You can imagine what sort of temperature the food was. Service: Same as the food. Lukewarm. One young waitress was friendly. Food: Steak was marginally higher than mass market chain restaurants or maybe notโฆ The veggie doesnโt match the description at all. Roasted seasonal vegetables with grounded cheese and nuts on top. No nut. The so-called grounded cheese was like a piece of melted left over cheese glued to one of the pieces of the veggie or herb? Didnโt find out coz we didnโt eat that. Before we ordered, we were considering to order cheese to finish our meal but couldnโt be bothered at the end. Conclusion This restaurant is a part of Ace Hotel. At least it said so on the receipt. I would expect a little more than that. With so much food options in Sydney unless you stay at the hotel and have to stick around for meetings. If not, I wonโt eat there again myself.
Lovely western restaurant in ACE hotel. The fish we ordered was really good but portion was a bit small. Bruschetta was delicious and all the toppings worked out really well. The desserts were amazing, though a bit sweet for me. The service was kind but a bit slow, our food took quite a while to come. Otherwise nice relaxing ambiance for dinner.
The cafe is inside ACE hotel. The decor is very artistic, and the atmosphere is very nice and quiet. The serving was quite generous and the service was excellent. They also offer all day breakfast. The price is a bit pricy though. We also ordered tiramisu and the miso & chocolate tart. The tart tastes yummy also.
Stylish place in a trendy hotel but open also to the public. The onion rings were ok - some were Siggy. Some were crispy. The truffle mayo was excellent. The chicken parmigan was crispy just maybe a touch dry. The salad was good.
The rib meat was incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection, just as I requested it to be medium. Each bite was tender and juicy, with a delightful smoky essence that lingered on my palate. As for the French fries, they were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and served piping hot, making them the perfect accompaniment to the meat.
