Came to this factory site turned cafe in Guildford Lane. Good location 5 min from Burke St Mall. Coffees n food were good, service friendly and prices reasonable. Was here at 9am on a Fri, had to wait for 10 min for a table. Vibe was buzzing !
Came here for brunch. We chose this cafe as Brick Lane was pretty packed. Service and atmosphere are great. And we had a good time catching up. Noise level is not too bad. Portion size could be bigger for the price, but taste wise, itโs pretty good. We enjoyed the Chilli Prawn Scramble and Chicken Supreme. Not really a big fan of the Bacon & Waffle. Overall, a lovely meal at Krimper Cafe! Lovely vibes!
Overall, mid at very best. I was very excited to take a few of my friends out for a cafe experience, especially some of whom had not been in Melbourne for years. Firstly, they flatly said the coffee was the worst they'd had in not just Melbourne, but Victoria. Weirdly muddy and gritty. I tried and actually quite enjoyed the Yuzu Spritz, but a friend was not happy at all with the hot chocolate. The food took a long time to arrive, probably about half an hour, and while I enjoyed mine, with the classic avo smash, no one else at the table did. A friend got the burger and flatly said they'd rather have gone to Grilled or Royal Stacks. It was also very loud and seemed to be rather understaffed. There was also a consistent line for the bathroom. Overall it's hard to recommend much about this place. At it's best it is fine.
We happened to see someone opening this wooden door on the street, and that's how we found this place! And, what a pleasant surprise! This hidden gem of a cafe boasts an awesome atmosphere, great staff & service, & an amazing menu. We ordered the lamb bake, and the smashed avo: both were amazing. Strongly recommend.
We had a friend of ours visiting Melbourne, so what better way to soak in the city environment than a visit to this cafe. Tucked away in the heart of Melbourne, this cafe is hybrid culinary delight and art gallery merged into one. With lovely decor and art pieces to gaze at whilst you enjoy your seated time. Staff were excellent even whilst run off their feet during peak times.
