wish i had a photo but i drank it all immediately. ordered the mazza iced coffee and itโs brewed wrh canadian maple syrup. the service is impeccable. had a nice chat with them and they made my coffee special made after i told them what i usually like in my coffee. iโd rate it highly for anyone who wants a good quality coffee and an amazing chat. definitely a new regular spot
This cafรฉ has that unmistakable energy of a place truly loved by locals โ lively, a bit chaotic in the best way, and full of character. Step inside and youโll find a space thatโs a little messy, a little quirky, but totally charming. That lived-in feel only adds to its appeal, making it feel like a genuine part of the neighbourhood rather than something polished for show. Thereโs both indoor and outdoor seating, so whether you want to soak up some sun or escape the bustle inside, youโve got options. The service is friendly and relaxed, striking that sweet spot between casual and attentive. The coffee here is a real highlight โ rich, full-bodied, and clearly crafted with care. Itโs the kind of cup that keeps regulars coming back day after day. Whether youโre popping in for a quick caffeine hit or settling in for a slow morning with friends, this cafรฉ delivers an experience that feels warm, familiar, and unmistakably local.
Showed my Canadian friend this place after trying to find a really good Aussie breakfast. They do basics SO well and even have specialty coffees such as the Mazza which is an interesting mix of dalgona + espresso and Canadian maple syrup. ๐จ๐ฆ๐จ๐ฆ๐๐ My Canadian friend was a โhappy camperโ, and my partner who is quite scrutinizing with his food thoroughly enjoyed it. The eggs benny was fab, you can tell their ingredients are top notch. The chef also explained that all their ingredients are sourced directly from local organic farmers - a time consuming task but yields such great results with the quality of the food. Theyโre generous with the smoked salmon AND itโs comparable to Michelin star smoked salmon Iโve had when I lived in Paris (Iโm a certified salmon fiend haha!). If a cafe can do great in the bread and butter basics, you know itโs a good place. ๐๐ The chef even told us about a lovely maple syrup almond treat he makes with a base of meringue. Again, Canadian approved dรฉlicieux!!! Weโll definitely back to try more things such as their tarts, more of their specialty coffees and more food when weโre back in the area! This is the type of place that keeps improving on their food and service! โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ๐๐๐๐
Lovely cafe hidden close to Alberta Street near museum station. The owner and staff are so friendly. The food is delicious and very generous portion sizes.
Fantastic place to eat. The iced coffee was perfect, generous portions of food and the sourdough was perfect. Not hard as a rock! The staff were happy and friendly, who I presume the owner was came up and had a chat with us, asked me how I found the coffee and if it was too strong. You can really tell how passionate he was. Refreshing to see ๐ Would definitely come back.
