The food was so good. The staff was so friendly as well and guide us through when making order so we can make right choice. Do let them know if you have any exceptions, they accommodate really well.
Absolutely loved this place. We were visiting Adelaide last weekend and had a Turkish breakfast. The staff were so welcoming and it did make me feel like I was back in Turkiye. Decor was great as well!
At night, the colourful lights draw your attention to this wonderful Turkish cafe. In the morning, it will be the traditional breakfast menu. Although, I haven't been during breakfast, it's definitely on my short list. At night, the menu is rather small and focused on dessert, traditional teas and coffee. We ordered, and shared, the Kunefe, which was really good and to eat one on your own could be a struggle. Traditional coffee and I had the Turkish apple tea. All really good. Although there weren't many people there, this has the potential of being a great late night hangout. The traditional music was kind of trance-ey, melodic and really set a great vibe. I can really imagine spending time here on a comfy lounge with great food and traditional teas. There is a late night menu on it's way, or so I heard, and that would work really well. The owner is very friendly and welcoming and makes you feel at home with her easy going nature. I hope this place is here for the long-term. I'm looking forward to it's evolution into an Adelaide institution for late night eats and cool vibes. Recommended
Finally tried the Istanbul lounge. We got the Turkish eggs and Turkish toast. Both tasted really good and we would definitely be back to try more from their menu.
Such a great spot in the heart of Adelaide if youโre craving proper Turkish flavours. The atmosphere is really warm and welcoming, and the menu is packed with classics like kรผnefe, baklava, simit and a proper Turkish brekkie. Coffee is top notch too โ rich aroma and plenty of options. Definitely worth a visit if youโre after something a bit different from the usual cafรฉs.
