Tried - Bo Ne (beef on hot plate) $14.00 - Crispy Chicken with Tomato Rice $14.00 1. Bo Ne (beef on hot plate) Taste Rating: 7/10 - Crispy bread roll was warm, soft on the inside and crispy on the outside; it was the highlight of the dish hahaha - Beef was thinly sliced; goes well with the bread roll - Served with sweet soy sauce 2. Crispy Chicken with Tomato Rice - 6.5/10 - Chicken and rice need more seasoning to make it tasty - Provided a large serving of rice The food stall is located inside Cabramatta No.1 Shopping Centre in a food court setting. Overall, the dishes were priced cheaper than other restaurants in the area, so better value in terms of price and size of serving. Payment by cash or PayID.
This hidden gem in Cabramatta has incredible value for money. Everything they sell is authentic. I come here almost every week for Bo Ne (Vietnamese Steak) and Tomato Rice with Crispy Chicken too. I have tried 5+ different dishes here already and none has disappointed me. This place deserves more publicity for sure.
Delicious and authentic Vietnamese food. Also affordable. I’ve been here a couple of times and the food never disappoints. Today, I ordered the Cơm chiên sườn + Trứng (Pork chop, Egg with fried rice) and the Bánh Cuốn Chả Lụa Nem Chua (Steamed Rice Rolls with Pork Cake). They only accept cash. The tables and chairs definitely need a clean though. It turns you off when you have to wipe them down yourself.
Got here after seeing the 5 star reviews so decided to give it a go .. We ordered Bò né, bánh canh cua cha tôm, bánh cuốn .. all 3 were some of the worst we've tried in Sydney. The staff were nice. And the restaurant caters to the local vendors in the area. However, the food was really disappointing the beef in the Bò né came on the sizzling tray rather than separately and the bánh canh cua cha tôm was just a bowl of oil with noodles. There was just 1 piece of meat in it all.
An absolute feast for the senses. Food here is very, very authentic, the atmosphere is vivid, servers are full of life and character. My wife had the Bun Bo Hue and we were hit with an instant welcoming aroma of fermented shrimp paste. I had the Special Pork Chop and Rice and it was only $13, the pork chop was tender with a crispy fatty edges, the first bite and you'll instantly smell fragrant lemongrass. Food is tasty, comes out boiling hot and not overpriced, it's humble Vietnamese food and prices should always reflect that. I highly recommend and will visit again and again!
