As an Australian I don’t mind admitting I’m a bit of a coffee snob. Most coffee these days is a little under par. Not so with “For The Record”. The coffee is exquisite. My oat flat white ticked all the boxes. I could actually taste the coffee - rich, caramel, nutty, no bitterness - and the milk was steamed perfectly. Silky not bubbly. The host was polite and friendly making us feel welcome and relaxed. The ambience is superb. It’s tough to beat combining a record store with a coffee house. Wait a couple of days before you visit - it was uncrowded and I’d like to keep it that way!

Great little coffee shop next to the Fremantle markets. Decorated very cool and quirky, loved the vibe. We got take away ice coffees which were refreshing on a hot day. The team were happy and great to interact with.

If you want to escape the market chaos, this is your spot. For The Record is a vibe—vintage furniture, a red phone box, and a record player spinning classics all day. The staff are incredibly welcoming and the coffee is some of the best in Fremantle. We spent an hour just browsing their curated vinyl collection with a perfectly made Five Senses latte in hand. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates good tunes and better caffeine.

A friendly and relaxing place to visit. I went in on a Sunday just before midday. Not too busy or rowdy and plenty of places to sit. I asked for a weak cappucino with a 1/4 shot. The barista decided to science it and give me all the elements to make my own, just for fun. Google maps took me somewhere around the back of the markets, but not actually to the cafe. Its located to the left of the entrance to Freo Markets.

Best Cappuccino in Freo! Honestly the best cappuccino I've ever had!☕️ Perfect temperature, smooth and rich flavour, with beautiful latte art on top! Friendly service and such a relaxing vibe. Highly recommend if you're in Freo!
