This cafe came very highly recommended, but unfortunately I was disappointed. The food and drinks were certainly good, but nothing special. For the prices, the portions weren’t big, but they were filling. The drinks were delicious, but outsourced so don’t really contribute to the review. The hashbrowns were certainly unique, with a creamy inside and crispy outside, covered in hollandaise sauce that douses poached eggs and rocket. It was done well, but again, nothing special. The banana and blueberry bread was also very tasty, and paired well with the compote and fresh sweet strawberries. The mascarpone cream wasn’t for me though. With a bustling atmosphere and prompt service, all in all, I wouldn’t come back, but this is certainly a decent establishment.

It’s table service here, which is awesome and something I really appreciated. We ordered the Hash Brown Benny and the Cinebun French Toast for breakfast. The Benny was a nice surprise served on thick homemade hash browns instead of bread gave it a unique twist, and I added a side of thick-cut bacon which was spot-on. The French Toast though, wasn’t quite for me. In my opinion it was very eggy and doughy… just not my kind of texture or flavour. Still the staff were great and the overall vibe made for a pleasant visit.

I had an amazing experience at Finlay & Sons in Perth! The chicken hamburger and lemonade were absolutely delicious 🤤. The cozy atmosphere ☕️ makes it perfect for hanging out with friends or enjoying a meal solo. The service was excellent, with friendly staff always greeting us with a smile 😊 . I had an incredible breakfast experience at this café! The food was absolutely delicious. The ambiance was warm and welcoming, with great attention to detail in both the food and the setting. I’m already looking forward to coming back! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a top breakfast spot.

Had brunch here and everything was good. The French toast wasn’t the soft kind we usually have. The toast they used was quite solid. It wasn’t bad, but it might be different from what you expect.
