This place has a very modern and cheerful vibe that makes you feel positive as soon as you walk in. The staff are exceptionally friendly and they go out of their way to make sure you have a great visit. You will really enjoy the fast service and the very happy, inclusive spirit of the team

I was here for a casual brunch, and found it comfortable and welcoming. My breakfast bowl had decent portion size and tasted hearty without feeling heavy. Their coffee hit the right spot — warm, well made, and consistent. It’s clearly a spot that locals rely on for good food and a relaxed mood.

I was a bit disappointed with my visit. A customer was smoking outside in what was meant to be a non-smoking area. I mentioned it to staff, but it seemed like they were already aware and nothing was done, so the smoking continued. As I’m currently pregnant, this made me feel quite uncomfortable. I really hope the café can take this more seriously in the future, as it would make the space much more enjoyable for everyone. The Cappuccino and cinnamon roll was good

I have been a customer of Dukes for years and I have seen it getting better and better. They keep upgrading their menu and aiming to improve every time, the presentation of the food is amazing, staff are always friendly and welcoming. The head chef has done catering for a few of my events and the results are always outstanding. Do yourself a favour and visit Dukes Cafe!!

Wi-Fi available, ask for password. Coffee delicious but a little mellow. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Prompt service. The eggs Benedict with ham on soft toast, spinach and light because but spicy sauce is scrumptious and reasonably priced, so is coffee. Walking distance to centre of town and main bus stop. Great atmosphere, different decor, good for date, must try.
