Been a while since a salad bowl got my feet dancing. No clue what they did, but Id gladly eat it every day. The peanut butter banana toast with honey and cinnamon was also worth a dance, and the staff who helped me tailored the serving size so I could have everything I wanted without wasting food. Easily one of my fav spots now, and cant wait to come back 💘

A place that has become somewhat of a second home to me. You know you hit the jackpot when you come across a place that delivers excellent coffee, gourmet-level dishes, reasonable prices, and staff that remember your name & preferences from your first few visits. I recall the first time I came here - it was for a takeaway coffee before work. First sip of my almond flat white and I stopped dead on my tracks. It was the silkiest, creamiest, and most aromatic coffee that's ever passed my lips and I felt the world soften around me. The next visit I tried their banana bread for breakfast. Same sensation for the toasty, deep & rich flavour from each bite. It was only during my 3rd or 4th visit that I actually had lunch here, and oh dear, I was hooked from then on. The sandwiches here are next level, especially anything with Liz's hummus. I thought I didn't like hummus before that, I was so sorely wrong. The salad bowls with the most colourful display & filling portions are also incredible. If I were to recommend, I'd say go for the eggplant hummus & lemon tuna sandwiches, or the poached chicken & smashed egg salads. But my ultimate recommendation remains the chicken shawarma wrap. The most life-changing thing you can experience - generously spiced chicken in a flavour you can't find anywhere else, tangy pickled cabbage, that savoury garlicky hummus, and fresh tomatoes in a toasty wrap. Extraordinary. Service here is another thing - they make you feel like family & always make sure you're taken care of. I wish I could show them as much love as I feel everytime I'm here but it's almost impossible because every word, every sip, every bite, every moment you have here is laced with so much love & thought that it's hard to return. We dropped in for a quick coffee and breakfast before leaving Sydney after a long weekend visit from Melbourne. Google reviews told me great things and they were definitely correct! The coffee here is beautiful. Roasted on site, the flavour was rounded and perfect strength. I didn't want it to end and was 100% tempted to order another! The food was really tasty and excellent quality. I got the feeling that all of the team here put in a lot of effort to produce high standard food & drinks. Will be recommending Double Tap to anyone I know who's visiting Sydney!

Hands down the best cafe in Sydney! My husband and I loved everything about this cafe. The cafe was so clean, neat and tidy. The food was great. I would recommend Mortadella sandwich. The staffs were friendly and amazing. The milk based coffees are always consistently silky, smooth, and utterly delicious. The espresso (from Guatemala) was extremely nice! 10 out of 10. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Wonderful service, great food. What more can you ask for! The pastrami sandwich was my personal favourite! All the flavours married so well with one another and it was just a delightful taste. The chicken was great too, however, I’d change the use of rocket in it - or ask to swap it out, as it’s quite bitter - but they have this almond paste they’ve added into the sandwich that is SO unique and goes so well with the chicken. Bravo guys, great job in all fronts!
