Minimalist yet a hint of retro feel atmosolphere. Nice outdoor area as well. Good service. However I take my matcha and almond croissant seriously.... Matcha was tainted with Masala/Cinammon (sprinkled on top) which was a "no-no" for a matcha pure-ist. The Almond Croissant was doughy, lacked the crisp layers and on sweet side. Beautiful cafe in a bright airy space. The staff are always so accommodating of my dietary requirements. They have no obligation to be so accommodating, but they are, and

I had an iced matcha from this place, and it was a disaster. Very sugary, and it was not even mixed properly. It was just chunks of Matcha powder and sugar. I couldn't drink it, so I wasted 8.5 dollars. Very disappointing, I felt ripped off.
Beautiful cafe in a bright airy space. The staff are always so accommodating of my dietary requirements. They have no obligation to be so accommodating, but they are, and that’s lovely. Great coffee and sandwiches, and excellent service.
A warm and welcoming atmosphere exists here. I arrived around an hour before closing time, despite this there were still several options for pre-made sandwiches available. I selected a New York Deli sandwich, a slice of Mango Bread, and a Flat-white coffee. The friendly staff member offered to toast the sandwich and Mango Bread for me. The coffee was nice, and was served in an interestingly decorated cup. The New York Deli sandwich was expertly toasted, the bread and ingredients were fresh and delicious. The pickle and the tomato relish components added a delightful little "kick" to the sandwich, without overwhelming the overall flavour. The Mango Bread had been toasted just enough to slightly sear the exterior, while leaving the interior moist and light. It tasted great, enhanced with the supplied butter.
Absolutely love this little gem in Surry Hills! The coffee is fantastic and their value for money lunch menu is incredibly tasty. I'd happily eat here every day. The staff is super friendly and always has beautiful smiles on their faces. The cozy atmosphere and great vibes make it a must-visit. Highly recommended!
