Very disappointed with todayโs experience. Came her for coffee had to ask asked for table water and was initially questioned and water was finally provided in a small glass, which was not sufficient as I needed more for my son. When I politely asked for table water again, it was handed over with clear attitude and I was told to RETURN it. This was uncomfortable and unnecessary, especially when other customers were provided with table water without any issues. I could not understand why access to basic table water was a problem. Additionally, the cafรฉ closes at 6:00 pm, and we were there at 3:30 pm, so timing was not an issue but she says we are closing! Never had a service like this when asking for cup of water!!!! There is trolley full of cups and water accessible for costumer but wont let the them take it?
The food is good overall. The burger was enjoyable initially, but the flavour became a bit overwhelming after a few bites. Many people seem to enjoy the hashbrown, though it wasnโt to my taste. We were seated at a table for two even though several tables for four were available, so that was a bit disappointing.
Iโve been here three times in the last few months and Iโm obsessed with their specialty drinks, especially the iced salted matcha and their peanut butter hojicha - highly recommend if you like the sweet and salty combo. Every time Iโm here, I always order their mortadella focaccia, Iโve literally never tried anything else. Itโs just so delicious and I love that they put burrata in it, so good!
The chilli scrambled eggs were the highlight perfectly creamy with just the right kick of heat, and the hash brown add-on made it even better. The texture, flavour balance, and portion size were spot on. I also tried the pandan French toast, and it was a standout. Soft, fragrant, and beautifully prepared easily one of the best variations Iโve had. The overall atmosphere of the cafรฉ is warm, modern, and relaxing, making it a great spot to spend a slow morning.
We waited about 15 minutes for a table at 11 an on Sunday. The cafรฉ was very busy. One of our friends is vegetarian, but all of the vegetarian options were unavailable. The staff was kind enough to ask the kitchen to make the omelette dish without any meat. Also, the portion was quite small for the price. Their coffee is good. They use Ona coffee beans. We wanted to try some of their special beans (not from Ona), but they were unavailable. Their special drinks menu looks good. However, like their food, half of it was sold out. They also canโt change their signature drinks such as matcha, London fog, or hojicha to alternative milk.
