About

Paid $15.00 ($7.50 each) for 2 slices of German Nut Cake, served in a plain paper bag. The slice was extremely thin, literally the thickness of a finger, dry, and average at best. It felt more like a supermarket loaf than café quality, with zero presentation. Coffee was okay, but $7.50 for this is poor value. Wouldn’t order again. Loved it. The kids were obsessed with the pancakes - said they’re to die for. Me, I had the German nut cake! The portioning of the cake is just perfect. Not too big not too small. It’s perfect and absolutely delicious. I’m coming back when I’m down again! Thanks alfons for always smiling.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Simple Done Perfectly Stopped in for a quick bite and ended up having one of the best toasties I’ve ever had — seriously. It’s simple, but perfectly done: thick, golden toasted bread, juicy chicken, melted cheese, creamy avocado, and a hit of red onion that ties it all together. Comfort food at its classiest. The coffee was spot on, the vibe relaxed, and the staff super friendly — the kind of place that makes you want to linger just a little longer. If you’re after a cafe that gets the basics right, this is it. That chicken toastie alone deserves its own fan club

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting Cafe Alfons a few times now, and every experience has been delightful. On my most recent visit, I decided to try their blueberry muffins, and I was not disappointed. The muffins were incredibly fresh, with a soft, fluffy texture and bursting with flavor. It was clear that they bake their goods with care, and that’s one of the things I love about this cafe. Along with the muffins, I enjoyed their signature hot chocolate and eggs Benedict, both of which are always delicious. The hot chocolate is rich and comforting, while the eggs Benedict are cooked to perfection, with just the right balance of flavors. It’s clear that Cafe Alfons takes pride in its food, and every dish feels thoughtfully prepared. The atmosphere at Cafe Alfons is always warm and inviting. The cafe is filled with friendly locals, creating a sense of community and making each visit feel like a special experience. Though the place is often packed—likely due to its popularity—it never feels too crowded or rushed. There’s always a welcoming vibe, no matter how busy it gets. Located on Chevron Island, directly across from Dicaprio Cafe, Cafe Alfons is a local gem that’s hard to miss. One of my most memorable experiences was discovering that someone had paid for my bill during one visit—a thoughtful gesture that truly made my day. Cafe Alfons has quickly become one of my favorite spots, and I always look forward to my mornings spent there. If you’re ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping by. You won’t regret it!
