What a great breakfast in Hobart. Everything on the menu was very appealing. We settled on the potato hash, which was delicious with a mushroom duxelles, and rice crisp for texture (and a fried egg), and the Croque Madame with truffles in the bechamel sauce. Sensational coffee art and lovely service too, what a treat before we headed to the airport to fly back to Sydney.
Very cool cafe in North Hobart serving amazing food! Canโt wait to come back to try other dishes. Iโm so jealous of Tasmanians having access to all these amazing restaurants and cafes.
Quite a good breakfast place in the area. The atmosphere is perfect for the type of food. Service is quite good too. Fried chicken burger is great. Slaw cuts the heat quite well. Would love an option to add hot chippies. Truffle croque madame is nice too, but I think itโs just truffle oil than real truffle which is fair enough for the price. Tiramisu French toast is quite ok. Toast is crunchy on the outside but still soft. Canโt taste much coffee which is weird since itโs overflowing a bit. Sweetness will vary on your tolerance. Overall, recommended for breakfast!
Came highly recommended and did not disappoint! A lovely atmosphere and welcoming feel! I ordered the avo on toast with a side of chorizo, which turned out to be completely unnecessary as the avo on toast was amazing on its own! My partner had the octopus scrambled eggs and it was equally as delicious! Was incredibly busy when we arrived, but we got a table after a short wait.
Beautifully lit room with lots of natural lighting . Lots of seats available but we were lucky we got a table for our party of 8 without a booking. Very interesting menu with Tasmanian produce featured. They octopus and nduja scrambled eggs were amazing, uniquely Tassie! Wished we'd known about this place sooner so we could try more items on the menu. Coffee were good too! They might be short on staff as we waited for coffee for a while.
