Blooming amazing eating option. The space itself is delightful, spacious and light filled and airy, quiet. Staff are friendly, pleasant, relaxing. Most importantly the food is excellent! The focaccia is amazing, the Halloumi is a sensation, the hummus is world changing. The bean dish was underwhelming. This is the sort of space I would bring friends in order to amaze them, and also the prices are reasonable for what is excellent food. UPDATE: I ate at bloom again. The halloumi was less great this time. Murray cod was very good. The summer leaves with nectarine I didn't think was that special. But overall the realisation was that this place is best with a larger group, at least 4+. The dishes are so great you want to try multiple different things, and the serves are generous so they can be shared between multiple people. With just two of us this time it ended up feeling more expensive, whereas a group of four could have ordered just a bit more, got to try more things, and ended up having just the right amount of food at a lower price.
I love this place. We sometimes go for a walk in Bonython Park, go under the bridge, and end up here, such a great spot. The space is very spacious with a clean, minimalist feel. They have areas suitable for private functions, as well as both indoor and outdoor seating. I remember visiting last winter when they had a wood fire outside to keep everyone warm, along with blankets while sitting under the trees, which was a really nice touch. The food is excellent and beautifully presented, the chef is amazing. Itโs a perfect setting for breakfast or brunch. The coffee is great; Iโve tried the matcha and it was very good. Their pistachio scroll sells out quickly, so make sure you grab one if you can. On our last visit, we forgot to make a reservation and ended up sitting at the coffee bar. Luckily, they had space. It was lovely chatting with the barista and servers, the staff are friendly, welcoming, and provide great service. Weโll definitely be back regularly.

REVIEW: โ๏ธ Bloom was a beautiful place. Filled with natural light, beige colours - it feels like you're stepping into an oasis. Instantly relaxed. Definitely a strong point for this establishment! Modern Australian fare, with a big focus on elevating the basics. Halloumi with pine nuts and honey made it a sweet and thicker snack, while the layers of potato hash was cut and cooked perfectly. I loved the unique shape of the Skana croissant (circular) which was used as burger buns. Fillings also felt like brunch. Interesting flavours and combinations that are definitely different from your standard burger. ๐ The food was perfect to split between 2 people! We arrived on a Sunday morning and as a small table, we were able to walk in. However - any more people (>2) and we'd be turned away! Would highly suggest booking a table if you know you're going to dine with a couple of people. A lot of the patrons were lululemon advocates as well ๐. I don't think I've ever seen that many lululemon leggings in my life!
Such an excellent place. A great menu in a great setting with great staff. The Bloody Maryโs were spot on too. Well worth a visit and we will be back.
This place is such a hidden gem. I love everything about it. The design is modern and thoughtful, the atmosphere is great, and the service is always friendly. The food and drinks never disappoint. They change the menu regularly, but everything I've tried has been worth it. The sweets on display are especially hard to resist. My go-to is the damper with a cup of latte. The latte is honestly the best I've had in Adelaide. It's rich, bold, and still incredibly smooth. Parking is easy, but it's definitely a good idea to book ahead since it's usually fully booked. P.S. I hope they bring back some of the best-selling or most-reviewed dishes.
