We visited Algorithm Cafe Marrickville twice during our road trip. Even though we have plenty of cafés within walking distance from where we live, we still chose to drive 10 minutes specifically to come here and it was absolutely worth it. We went on both the 25th and 26th of December, and despite the long queues on both days, the line management was excellent. Ordering was quick and efficient, and our takeaway orders were prepared very fast, which was impressive given how busy it was. The coffee was really good, and their signature items and signature drinks were outstanding. Highly recommend the Matcha drink and the Rhythm signature drink. We also really enjoyed the pandan bun, and the kids loved the ham and cheese croissant. We didn’t dine in this time, but based on the food quality and the level of service, I’m sure the dine-in experience would be just as impressive. Service was genuinely excellent, especially considering how busy they were.

The black coffee is exceptionally smooth with no bitterness, making it easy to enjoy from the first sip. The matcha espresso is just as impressive, featuring a bold espresso cloud floating on top with a hint of sweetness that pairs beautifully with the matcha, creating a well-balanced drink. I can confidently say it’s one of the best Mont Blanc drinks in Sydney, perfectly paired with an impressive cold brew. 10/10!!! Definitely will be back for the Food!✨

The food, especially the special menu, was incredibly delicious! The signature coffee was great too, but I actually liked the matcha even more. The taste and service were both excellent. However, there were quite a few flies and bugs near the window seats, which was a bit disappointing. Everything else was perfect though!

My family had recently discovered Algorithm, after wanting to visit for ages and not getting time to, and needless to say it exceeded all our expectations. The staff are all so very friendly and welcoming, especially in making my little one feel comfortable. The coffee is CONSISTENTLY one of the best. We happily come out of our way to grab a quick coffee and cookie. I highly recommend you try their cold brew and monte Blanc

The signature coffee blew me away, it was the perfect mixture of sweet and bitter, looked so good in pictures and really surprised me. The avocado toast with pesto and cashews was very rich in flavour. It’s a bit busy though, not very cozy and they don’t have public wifi.
